Of us and June

Kien, Hoang and Minh's perfect summer break is threatened when Kien suddenly leaves for his home village, abandoning his high school basketball team days before they face their most challenging game. His best friend Hoang realizes that Kien's unrequited love for Minh drove him away. Hoang and Minh go to find Kien in an attempt to save their friendship and the game.

Director Biography - Huu-Tuan Nguyen

Born in 1984, film producer/director Huu-Tuan Nguyen is a member of the Vietnam Cinema Association. Nguyen is the first filmmaker in his 1980s generation to release a feature film, Of Us And June (2012). This basketball movie was a rare indie film at that time and awarded Jury Prize at the 18th Viet Nam Film Festival in 2013. His second film, My Son, Where Are You is a family movie that was released in December 2018. In 2019, along with nineteen other Asian filmmakers, Nguyen was selected to participate in the 6-months residency program at Busan Asian Film School (Korea). At Asian Film Market 2019, Nguyen and The Girl Who Sings In The Dreams was selected into Link of Cine-Asia, an event organized by the Busan Film Commission.
