Off White

A film written, acted, and directed by women of color. What would happen if a "white passing" teen goes along with her exterior. A young woman from the middle east begins working in a restaurant run by racists. She notices her white passing features and lies about her race. She keeps her friends of color in the dark about her lies, and through a surprise party with her family and coworkers... her lie falls apart. On the other side of the film you understand the difficulty in women of color being with white men and the little lies we have to tell ourselves.
