Sarah Hassan is a Dubai-based producer at CNN Arabic. She has a BA in Broadcast Journalism from the American University in Dubai, where she also directed and produced short student documentaries: “Without A Frame” and “Turoq”. She produced a feature independent documentary, The Borrowed Dress, set to be released in late 2017.
The story of the main character, Fadi, reflected an internal conflict that I personally live. Working in Dubai’s heavily corporate culture, I constantly wonder if the modern-day concept of success, namely a full-time, well-paying corporate job, is really the ultimate goal for success.
