Of Princess PETunia and the Enchanted Kingdom

Circularity represents our future. So why have 60 % of Czechs never heard of the term? We decided to change that with the Zálohujme.cz initiative. The future belongs to children, so we started with their education. We shot the fairy tale Of Princess PETunia and the Enchanted Kingdom. The simple and amusing story ensured that the children understood the topic, and the hidden adult wit meant success even for mothers or, for example, teachers, who are a mediator to future generations. The main role was played by the popular Czech singer, actor and ambassador Tomáš Klus, whose content is loved by mothers as well as children. He not only told and played the story, but he is also the author of the screenplay.

Initiative Zálohujme.cz has long been striving to introduce a deposit refund system for PET bottles and cans in the Czech Republic. One of the advantages of the system would be the circularity, which could be used in bottle-to-bottle recycling, where new bottles would be produced from PET bottles. We wanted to explain this complicated topic with the help of a fairy tale.
