Born in Milan Italy, Luigi Cazzaniga has lived in New York since 1984. He has worked for Inter Soccer club directing and producing different videos. His historical footage of 9/11 has been shown on CNN, HBO, RAI and many different Televisions Networks around the world. As a correspondent for Italian LA7 he shot videos of American life, from Mormon polygamous families in Utah, to New Orleans gun shows, and child beauty pageants in Texas. One of his most recent projects was an interview with Oliver Stone about his Putin experiences shown on Italy’s RAI 3. Luigi has also been working for more than two years on his2 episodes feature documentary about synchronicity. Two of his books, “Mondo Inter” and “Group Portraits” were published in Italy. His Hyper Abstract video projections have been shown at the Bronx Museum, the Bowery Poetry Club, La Mama and Howl Gallery in NYC, The Shankill Castle, Ireland, the Soncino VI, VII and VIII Biennale, Casalmaggiore Contemporanea and the Stream Gallery in Bushwick NY. He was correspondent for Italian Marie Claire, Elle and was Art Director of Cover magazine, a downtown New York arts journal. In the US, Cazzaniga has also did fashion and portrait photography for W, Playboy, the New York Times, Popular Photography and Vogue.
