The Helmut winemaker family with eleven members are placed in a small village in Germany between Nürnberg and Würzburg. They have an important target which is to produce good quality wine, but the most important is to do all this with sustainability, and environment friendly. This is what they call BIO-organic wine. Helmut started this mentality in 1974, after a near-death experience of the inhaled toxic spray, so he was one of the first organic winemaker pioneer in Germany. Back then, everybody thought his mind is not complete, because he chose the hardest way to produce wine. Ever since, they invented many individual methods, and even nowadays they work in these conditions, with really hard hand work, in the harvesting period too. They have a good reason doing this way, and they give many explanations, and examples, why others need to pay attention to the sustainability because we are destroying the soil, which feeds us!
