Ode

A memorial. A memory. A mirage. The past lives in another house, a house which still stands but no longer exists. A love letter. A shirt. A woman. Taken by time, turned into dust. Taken.

Director Statement

In all the things I create, the one thing I'm always looking for is discovery. The pleasure of a child's gaze onto the world allows a construction directed towards the process itself instead of the result, allowing, thence, an outcome that's not poisoned or limited by a restrictive obsession with it. That's what I've tried to do with "Ode": discovering its own identity.
