Director Statement

For years we cultivated a friendship with the band, and from our last music video for them "Ta com dólar, ta com Deus" we were instigated to follow up to this partnership. It was then that during the making of the new album, the band had to deal with the mourning coming from the death of the producer Miranda and the mother of the singer Juliana.

Dealing with this issue has never been easy, but why? Why does death always have to be something bad? This was the premise that motivated not only the music but the construction of the discourse that had as its focus the resignification of death. And through this emotional matter we all had, we made a concerted effort to write a motivational story that conciliated to the song, could break that paradigm and stimulate organ donation. So, however one life goes and leaves a feeling of longing, another can follow from a gesture of love.

And as the song itself says "I will not forget you, I will celebrate you," the music video comes to help people celebrate life from memory. Thus, in order not to miss the celebration, we decided to launch the music video on the Dia de los muertos, thereby honoring the homeland of two of the band members.
