ORION (mini series)

Ersan, Umut and Yusuf commit a pizzeria murder under the influence of drugs. Together with Umut's mother and his uncle, the great cocaine baron, they solve the murder artistically. They buried the body inside the ORION statue to be used in the Dionysus theater festival held in Greece. However, all these ideas and a clever solution plan do not belong to any of them. The whole plan belongs to a schizophrenic man, namely Veysel. Veysel is a dead man, a pregnant woman, a cocaine baron, a mafia boss and a completely different person with many other characters.

Director Biography - ULAS KOTAN

Born in Istanbul in 1992, Ulaş KOTAN started his education life at İbrahim Öktem Primary School. Then, he completed Kadıköy High School, Istanbul University (Philosophy Department), Nazım Hikmet Theater Academy Graduate Acting Department. KOTAN, who started the cinema sector at a young age, preferred to share his sector experiences with the audience by founding the company SIRIUS PICTURES. He still continues his work in SIRIUS PICTURES with his partner and wife, Z. Ece Tulan.

Director Statement

ORION is a psychological thriller story. It is a work supported by reason and dramaturgical infrastructure from all tensions and dead ends. This mini-series aimed to show the events rather than tell them and to make the viewer a part of the whole story while thinking.
