ORION International Film Festival is dedicated to finding original, thought-provoking films that push the boundaries of storytelling. The festival features a broad range of genres catering for many filmmakers. The ORION International Film Festival is founded in Australia and includes competitive categories and live screening events. It aims to recognise original and inspiring films by independent and new filmmakers. ORION IFF aims to identify and empower filmmakers across the Globe.
The 2023 ORION IFF will hold two screening events in the charming village of Dalveen, located in the picturesque Granite Belt Region of Southern Queensland, Australia. Presented by the Dalveen Film Society, the event celebrates evolving international cinema, delicious food and fine wines locally sourced. And in Berlin, Germany's political and cultural capital, the screening will take place at the renowned Z-inema Kino/Cinema.
Officially selected films and winners are chosen by an industry panel. All entries are judged based on six key areas: Originality, Production Values, Cinematography, Performances, Editing, and Sound Design.
