Alessandro Trapani, a Film History graduate from the University of Rome, embarked on a remarkable cinema career. He started as a first AD and casting director and gained valuable experience working with many international directors like Jane Campion, Jessica Woodworth and Daniel Espinosa.
He later transitioned to directing his own works, ranging from short films to music videoS, documentaries and video art.
He has a passion for travelling, photography, editing, and writing.
I made this trip in the Venezuelan Amazon in 2001 and then lost track of all the footage filmed during it. Only recently, during a house move, I found a dusty box with 10 video tapes and a journal: it was material that I thought got lost. Since it was an experience that had been fundamental for me, I decided to create a documentary out of it.
