OPEN YOUR EYES
Years from now, the world becomes an uninhabitable place as a result of water, air, environmental pollution, increase in solid and hazardous waste production, climate change and unconscious consumption. Various disasters occur simultaneously all over the world. Although human beings have two eyes, they do not see what the world they live in has become, it does not matter. It's like living in a glass ball... The glass ball is a world and we are in that glass ball.

I was born on 09.03.1989 in Aydın. After completing my primary, secondary and high school education in Aydın, I won the Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University Cinema-TV Department and settled in Istanbul. While continuing my university education, I worked in the TV series, cinema and advertising industry. I shot 6 short films and 1 medium feature film. In 2015, I graduated as the top of the department and I continue my business life. After working as a first assistant director for many directors, I wrote two feature-length scripts, directed a music clip and five promotional films. I worked as a drama specialist at Star TV, owned by Doğuş Broadcasting Group. Currently, while working as a first assistant director in the advertising industry, I also shoot short films. At the same time, I am currently continuing my graduate education at Beykent University.
We have responsibilities towards the world we live in to breathe into the future. We are on the verge of a major crisis that affects the whole world under the name of climate change. There are many things we can do individually or collectively. We just need to be conscious and take action to do everything we can. I want to show people what our future will be like as a result of environment, air, water pollution and climate change if we do not take precautions. Think about it, if we do not fulfill our basic responsibilities such as not polluting the environment, protecting the environment, not harming natural life, not using products that will cause air pollution, applying recycling processes, protecting our forests and not harming animals, we will need a cubic meter of clean air and a drop of water. That's why it was very important for me to shoot this short film. My aim is to raise awareness of everyone watching, thanks to this dystobic story that I created in my own imagination. The most basic thing I needed for this was to point out the catastrophes occurring simultaneously in various parts of the world. I made the screens at the beginning of the movie and the videos in it to raise awareness. It is not enough to just close our eyes and only care about the area we live in. We have to know what's going on in other parts of the world. And in this age of communication and technology, it is very easy for us to access this information and visuals. In the continuation of the movie, a glass ball appears. The glass ball represents the world we live in now. The world that revolves around dirty water and waste. So much so that even the music playing at the bottom is distorted. And all we have to do is open our eyes.
