ONED was founded in 2019, We focuses on unconventional images, experiments, and extreme themes. From 2023 the official selection will be screened in China, and France. We cooperate with China's largest experimental culture company, Toulouse Art Fair in France. Hope to normalize the unconventional

Rules & Terms

The selection is divided into four different periods
We don't limit the genre of the film
In the first round, the finalists will be selected by the organizing committee.
Then voted by the creator jury
There is only one requirement
Films need to be unconventional, creative and bold.

Quality
Producing a high quality video is critical to ensure a good viewing experience. Only films in HD standard are accepted.

Format
Only digital submissions via FilmFreeway are accepted, hardcopy submissions are not eligible.

Subtitles
Every film must come with English subtitles.

Disclaimer & Rights
By submitting your film to our festival you agree that your piece of work can be embedded on our website. The filmmaker/institution submitting the film must own the rights to do so and is responsible for the content they provide. By submitting, the filmmaker allows to create a page for their film without infringing copyright of any kind of form.

    SCAM festivals: ONED INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL or ONED ART/EXPERIMENTAL FILM FESTIVAL. Sadly I must write this review to warn other filmmakers to avoid submitting their films. The festival's director, John Wilson, after informing me that my film had been SELECTED (the official selection was on the festival's website with my film on it) asked me to send him the link of my film and synopsis, he then replied thanking me and said that I would be notified via email about screening and other activities. I didn't hear from him for months and when I got in touch again, he replied that the festival had been postponed. Months went by and apparently the festival was held "somewhere" (there are no photos of the 2023 event) and he never replied to any of my follow up emails to tell me what had happened. He literally disappeared. My impression is that the festival selects lots of films to create some sort of buzz on social media (I shared my selection on FB and IG), but then the event never happens.
