Shahar Azmon, 33, from Tel Aviv, graduate of the Sapir College Film School (2019). been working in the Israeli film industry for 8 years. Even before studying film, I worked as a production assistant and later moved to the camera department. Initially as an assistant cameraman and focus puller, which gave me the opportunity to observe and learn from various set professions. I gained a lot of experience on the sets of drama series like "When Heroes Fly," "Your Honor," "Kacha Zeh," and more.
After completing my studies, I decided to focus on cinematography. As a cinematographer, I took part in productions like "Roni and Tom," "Baalat HaChalomot," "Married at First Sight," "Survivor" (as the main island cameraman), "Peking Express." Alongside this, I have shot independent short films, both narrative and documentary, such as "Dimona Champions," "Masiayat," "Killer," "Homulade," "Tarif," "Shushka," "Hakibbutznik," "precious children," and "Shadow of the Past." Throughout my career as a cinematographer, I have always continued writing scripts and stories, and the film "Harduf," which I am presenting, is the first short film I am directing since completing my film studies.
