Director Biography - M. Night Shyamalan

M. Night Shyamalan has captured the attention of audiences worldwide, creating films that have grossed over $3.3 billion dollars. In 1999, Shyamalan wrote and directed the hit film THE SIXTH SENSE. It received six Oscar nominations, including Best Picture, Director, and Original Screenplay. His other thrillers include UNBREAKABLE, SIGNS, THE VILLAGE, THE VISIT and SPLIT. In 2019, Shyamalan released GLASS, which made close to $250 million. Most recently, Shyamalan released OLD for Universal. Shyamalan will again partner with Universal for his next thriller, KNOCK AT THE CABIN, expected to premiere in February of 2023.On the TV side, Shyamalan recently wrapped production on the third season of SERVANT, a psychological thriller series that debuted on Apple TV+ in 2019.
