ReguRegu is an art duo from Sapporo comprised of Kayo and Takuya Koiso that began producing art around 2008. They collect scraps such as taxidermied animals and secondhand fur coats to make dolls/puppets and create video works in which they play an active role. They feel joy in completing scripts, performing, shooting, editing, and scoring with only two people.
They have produced many animation and video works so far and have released three DVDs, including "Papetopia" from SECRETA TRADES. They also screen video works and hold exhibitions of the dolls that appear in their videos. They have worked on bloodthirsty butchers' "youth parallel unison," and made many music videos for the band "Chi to Shizuku."
We collect discarded items, such as decaying stuffed animals and old fur coats, to make puppets and produce video works in which they play an active role.
We take pleasure in completing the work by just the two of us, from writing, acting, shooting, editing, and music.
