Director Biography - Manuel Zicarelli

Manuel Zicarelli is an actor and director trained at the acting school Teatro Stabile of Genoa. Among his most important works as actor there are the TV series "Il capitano Maria", filmed in Puglia, where he played the role of deputy sergeant Mario Scaffara, “L’isola di Pietro", where he played Marcello Nele, and “The ideal city” by Luigi Lo Cascio, in the role of Marco, which is a film nominated for the Venice Film Festival in the Orizzonti section. It is also remarkable the participation in the TV movie "La classe degli asini" and in the film "Io sono vera” and other TV shows. The film "I need you" marks its debut as writer and director.
