Nudsu (Nuchus)
"Nudsu" is a documentary short film shot in the community of Uggubseni, in the Guna Yala comarca, by young Gunadule filmmakers from the same community. The film explores the deep significance of the Nudsu (Nuchus), sacred anthropomorphic figures used in traditional Guna medicine. Through ancestral stories and the voices of the community’s elders, the documentary unveils the mystical origin of these spiritual guardians and their role in the Gunadule worldview. More than just a visual testimony, "Nudsu" is a tribute to the wisdom of Guna leaders and the spiritual connection that breathes life into these protectors of harmony and balance.
