In my life I had the opportunity to share many experiences and sets with very good friends and thatchers. I thank them all so much.
I was born in Milan, I grafueted in architecture at Milano Polytechnic in 1977. I worked for many years as a set and costume designer for movies and television until 2019.
From 1984 for a few years I attended Ipotesi Cinema, directed by Ermanno Olmi, in Bassano del Grappa, and then in Bologna from 2005, first as a set designer for "Maicol", a film directed by Mario Brenta, and then as an author.
After a master's degree in documentary films, obtained in 2004 at the Civic School of Cinema "Luchino Visconti", in Milan, I directed in 2005, "Amen e altre storie", a documentary on theater experiences in a prison, in Saluzzo (Cn).
The film has been selected in festivals: "Sguardi altrove" in Milan, the Rome Film Festival, at the Novara Cine Festival, a Marseille in a festival organized by Film Flamme, le Polygone Etoilée.
In 2010 I held a workshop in a lower secondary school, together with teachers and students, producing a 30" film "Storia di lupi e di caprette".
In 2013 I made a documentary film, "Intrecci Urbani", commissioned by the Municipality of Genova, which documented a street art experience, which involved a thousand of people, especially women, to realize a Yarn Bombing event, in the old port of Genoa.
Many of them had the opportunity to experiment their creativity in that occasion, sometimes for the first time in their life and to live it in a collective experience. BIt was an interesting artistic and social experiment.
From 2015 to 2019 I participated in various editions of "Di studio in studio" in Milan, with videos and photographs.
In 2020 I shot the documentary film "NO ROOM INSIDE ME FOR ME", a long interview with a woman about her experience in prostitution.
