Nowhere

Gerald and Jean visit their fellow patient and friend, Eugene, who in a delirious state believes he is dying. Gerald and Jean reminisce and explore the reaches of the human psyche while on a weed fueled trip through Eugene’s hospice room. The two light up as an act of rebellion against the authorities of the Nurse, an amalgamation of “The Man” that stepped on the counterculture movement of the Sixties and Seventies, as well as the march of time itself. Gerald is taken back to his time in Vietnam while Jean reconnects to her counterculture roots and guides Gerald through to the inevitable, Nirvana. As the music and weed fill the air, the march of time within Eugene and the sounds of the jungle come to an abrupt stop with the arrival of lunch brought by the Nurse, ultimately bringing Gerald and Jean back to Earth and to the hospice room.
