Notice Me comes from a deep place. It’s about moving on from a tainted friendship and coming to terms with who you are as a person. I took a lot of this story from my own experiences during high school and how they differed from my life on social media. When we watch these stories unfold, we can also relate to them. There’s something really comforting about knowing that other people are going through exactly the same thing as you. When I wrote the protagonist Sadie, I found that she really resonated with a lot of teenagers because her fear of judgement was seriously taking over her life... and that’s the sad reality that youth have to live with today in a technologically progressive world
