Not a Fairy Tale

We are the dreamers who live in 21st century. We like to dream about a safe world for girls. No! Wait! This is not an issue centric film because ‘women safety’ can’t be an issue. I’m a girl who doesn’t feel safe, who can’t think about of walking around at night and yes, sometimes we are afraid to breathe also. Patriarchy dominates girls, or may be patriarchy is afraid of girls? Who knows? Protagonist of this film is a struggling writer who lives in Kolkata. She is struggling to earn, to live, to breathe safely. One night when she feels hopeless and thinks to quit, fairy tale knocks her window and asks her to live! This film creates a positive vibe for them who are struggling. When Patriarchy holds her throat, fairy tale starts to revolt. You know we should fight for ‘Fairy Tale’ because ‘Fairy Tale’ does exist and trust me my film is ‘Not a Fairy Tale’… :)
