Filmed in it's entirety on Location in Colima, Mexico. Not Quite Dead is a tasteful blend of romance and horror neatly fitted into a Not Quite Zombie story that Carlos Dunn wrote back in the mid 1980s. A film by Carlos Dunn.

Be sure to watch for Mr. Dunn's performance as the gang boss Pemberton in this film.

Director Biography - Carlos Dunn

Carlos Dunn is the Founder and CEO of Vampires2 films LLC with Virtual and On-Location studios in Colima, Mexico and in Atlanta, Georgia, USA. The company is involved in Producing and Distributing "High Concept" movies. His first movie, Award Winning Cult Classic Horror-Romance: "Carlos Dunn's Katherine" was praised as "Like watching an old John Carpenter film". The film is available on Demand at many VOD outlets including: Vimeo, VHX, and PivotShare. Carlos has been writing Pulp Fiction style stories for more than 50 years. He has published and sold more than 70 short stories and published 7 novels. Carlos was a back stage musician and back up singer at Nashville's grand Old Opera from 1970 to 1974 playing 5-string banjo and string bass and singing harmony. He toured with greats like the late Bill Monroe, The Osborn Brothers, Lester Flatt, and HeHaw's Archie Campbell. Carlos founded Vampires2 Publishing company in the early 1980s and founded Vampires2 films LLC in 2014.

Carlos has written numerous screenplays and Produced four "high concept" movies to date (Carlos Dunn's Katherine, Carlos Dunn's Hurry Sundown, Not Quite Dead, and I Thought You Were a Nice Man) and his newest film in Production in Mexico and Ohio (with Ghost Walk Studios) is based on New York Times and USA Today Best-selling Author Maggie Shayne's best selling book: "Embrace The Twilight."
