Human being has thought about art and aesthetics and has always been in search of beauty since his existence. This artistic production process is what distinguishes humans from other beings. However, the technology that is developing today has also led to changes in societies. Globalization and societies becoming more similar to each other due to many economic, sociological and cultural reasons have accelerated the process of moving towards a uniform society. The perception of rapidly changing and transforming new society has created a regeneration cycle in people’s and preference. Of course, the understanding of art and aesthetics was also affected by this transformation. The newly formed and ever-changing popular culture has led today's people to a fast and easy consumption approach. Especially with the effect of the pandemic process and technological developments, virtual pleasures and passions have become much more popular. Strengthening artificial intelligence, photography and video platforms lead to a gradual change in the understanding of art and a decrease in aesthetic concern to the point of almost non-existent. The speed and transformation of social media is gradually decreasing the interest in artistic activities, and even driving it towards a path in which a very small minority is interested. Therefore, his film has been made as an effort to explain the nosedive of art today.

Director Biography - Erdal Ruhi Duran

He was born on May 29, 1987 in Ankara. He lived in Sivaslı district of Uşak province until the age of 7. He studied primary and secondary school in Polatlı district of Ankara. He studied high school at “Sincan Ibn-i Sina High School” and university at “Pamukkale University, Department of Political Science and Public Administration”. In addition, he has worked as an actor and director in “Ankara Deneme Sahnesi”, “Bamboo Theatre”, “Hayali Kumpanya” and various theater groups for many years. In the field of theater, he manages the Theater Club of the Ministry of Environment, City and Climate Change and has officially directed and acted in many theater plays at the Ministry. He received 20 months of acting training from “Sadri Alışık Actor Academy”, and 15 months of announcer, presenter and voice-over training from “Başkent Communication Academy”. In addition to his acting, he writes poetry, plays, scripts and stories, some amateur and some professional. He received writing training from “Bamboo Cultural Center” and several institutions. He also studied “Directing at the Cinema Technical Academy”.
