Born a city child, Walter Andrés Lagarda Parra has, however, always felt attracted to nature. His first approaches to the cinematic art occured while studying biology, capturing images from the natural world. Currently stduying film at Universidad de Medios Audiovisuales CAAV in Guadalajara, Mexico, he has also explored the creation of music, exhibiting some of his work as a director and composer at different festivals in his country. In January 2021 he was awarded the prize for Best Original Music at The 48 Hour Film Project Mexico.
