From a young age, Noah Trentadue has been interested in creating media. It started with his passion for video editing as he produced and promoted Instagram video edits of his favourite sports.
However, as he began his experience at Vanier College, he gravitated to the art medium of Cinema. In this time, he developed a technical, theoretical and conceptual understanding of the art form. Most of his time in College was spent watching films and dissecting them. He draws inspiration from the German Expressionist and Film Noir eras. In doing so, he broadened my knowledge of the various elements of art and design such as contrast, emphasis and movement. He's created a total of 8 short films in less than two years and the technical difference is massively apparent with every new work he produces.
He is currently completing a Bachelor in Fine Arts with a Major in Film Studies at Concordia University. He is attending this institute to exercise and push the conceptual aspect of his films and make long-lasting connections with his peers that would incite collaborations on future projects.
He aims to, one day, direct truly arthouse motion pictures that would prove his worth as a filmmaker. He wants to convey impactful meanings through his work by creating immersive experiences for his audiences. This might seem ambitious to some, however, his relentless work ethic and resilient attitude provide him with the knowledge that he needs to make this goal possible.
