No Words to Spare
“No Words to Spare” is a 2-minute photographic film with trees that exist and trees that have disappeared. It is an ode to what is and what has been, to this presence which can disappear. This tribute to trees raises the question of what will be, what will remain. Is it the Tower of Les Lilas, a work of man, which will plunge into the ephemeral despite its gigantism? Or the trees that surround it? The answer is in "Our Futures", in a lament whose lyrics ask us to spare unnecessary words, in a quest for silence to listen to what does not speak, to observe the fauna and flora that surround us and try to protect their future and therefore ours.
