No Woman's Child
Micki and her mother stay together in a bungalow in the hills but they are not used to it; not just to the bungalow but also each other. As both Micki and her mother learn to be around each other, Micki begins to hear odd calls, from a young mother to her daughter, Pari. Troubled, Micki tells about it to her mother who rubbishes it off. Soon enough, the voice starts to catch up to her as the chasm between Micki and her mother grows.

The rise of mental illnesses in millennials is no longer news. Whether it is the result of a conclusive shift in global perspectives which is taking a toll upon the generation or a mere
consequence of rising consciousness – is debatable. But what is sure is that it is the concurrent reality of our times and often, in my personal and told experience, stems from the deep gap between parents and children where they are unable to understand each other.

The decision about the narrative style was to bring perspective to the loneliness of their world, to recreate a sense of frenzy that occupied characters' minds, placed through the eyes of the
spaces that the characters occupy.
