Director Biography - Geordie Joseph

Geordie Joseph grew up on the east coast of Canada, writing and directing theatre, as well as acting. He attended Mount Allison University for English and Philosophy, while completing a film studies program. In 2015, Geordie relocated to Vancouver to undertake the film production program at the Vancouver Film School. He has since made ten short films, some of which won grants, travelled festivals, and won awards.

Director Statement

Our goal was to tell a story not solely focused on betrayal. More importantly, we wanted to highlight the complexities of personal relationships, and explore what mourning those relationships can mean to each of us. As we search the paths to finding closure, through the vehicle of this timeless game, we can’t help but wonder… how can you not be romantic about baseball?
