No Funny Business

No Funny Business follows two lead characters: Dean, a supermarket worker and amateur comedian, and Lily, a girl simply in the wrong place at the wrong time. The film is narrated by Dean in a recording he plans to submit to some local comedy clubs.

Dean’s story begins on his commute home from work. At the bus stop, Dean has a chance encounter with Lily. Dean quickly charms her and convinces her to come home with him for a drink. Yet Lily is unaware that Dean has more malicious plans involving a quick dance and a can of spam.
