Director Biography - David Scott Heck

David Scott Heck started his acting career in 1994 on the set of POWDER, and made his feature film debut in 2002 opposite Matthew Perry and Elizabeth Hurley in SERVING SARA.

After years of acting in California and Texas, Heck debuted on the film festival circuit in 2015 with THE KID, a modern day remake of Chaplin's classic film.

With a background in film and theatre, David Scott Heck has shown promise as a cinematographer, director, producer and casting director.

It was inspired by a child's struggle and aimed at the very people that he should trust most.

No Excuse was made to create conversation and make people think, and it does just that.
