Director Statement

Geoff has made literally hundreds of tunes, non-music videos, and music and music videos, as well as very many visual artworks.
The films and musics that he now does are all unpremeditated improvisations. They are really conversations with close friends.
"Nip it in the bud" for instance was part of a 30 minute multi-tune jam with Rob Stokes playing a bass whilst Geoff played the drums. They they then went back and in one take Rob added electric guitar whilst Geoff improvised and sang the lyrics to the whole initial take. Maybe that shows!
Then the tune had radical surgery but but nothing was added.
Then the video was made.
