Director Statement

As a teenager, it was popular to go swimming at night at the public outdoor swimming stadium in Helsinki. It was exciting because it was forbidden. It was also romantic at times. I can still remember how strangely the surface of the water shimmered in the moonlight. My imagination was fired by this sight.
