Director Statement

Nightmare Therapy is a project I've been working on since 2021, Utilizing what crew and equipment on hand, I wanted to create something with more of a story while incorporating a lot of the surrealist sensibilities I have developed in my other work.
Originally meant to be a short (now called "Somnambulant") Nightmare Therapy has evolved into something unique in style and structure, my goal with this project was to create something experimental and new and grounded enough to be entertaining.
The actors bring their own unique charm to the characters, contrasts excellently with the main character, an arrogant man whose abhorrent behavior is reflected to him in a nightmarish way I wanted to make most entertaining.
