Night Shore

The sea and the fjords used to be our main road. With everybody going in cars the water is now an obstacle and in the dark winter night the sea a stranger to us. The everchanging water surface reflects any light source. Becoming the reflections of the lit civilization we’re experiencing the night in a small fishing town.

Director Statement

In the dark night the ocean becomes more like a creature. My imagination is carried away by the sounds of the water against the shore. The surface reflecting and breaking up all nuances of light into shapes. And the deep darkness underneath.
