Director Statement

Working in the horror genre came more naturally than I ever anticipated. I am regularly visited by night terrors after watching murder documentaries, horror films, or even PG-13 thrillers. This movie gave me the opportunity to exercise control over some of my own personal demons. The Night Terror was born from the desire to create an entirely new monster and the short serves as an origin story for a larger thriller. By design audiences should leave with more questions and a desire to see where our monster strikes next.
