Eddy Schwartz and Yordan Petkov have collaborated on various short films, documentaries & commercials. Their last short, Auf Wiedersehen was screened at over 20 festivals, winning the Best Live Action Short film Prize at the 31st Warsaw International Film Festival.
Night Shift is their second live-action short, supported by the Bulgarian National Film Center & Federation Wallonie-Bruxelles.
They are currently developing their debut feature, Giyur, supported with a development grant by the Bulgarian National Film Center.
Night Shift is our second live-action short, with which we decided to make a step towards a longer format. While not based on a true story, it still reflects an existence which is a reality for a majority of Bulgarians on the social and economic periphery.
