Born in Marseille, France in 1993 to the Prince William of Wales and Princess Catharina-Amalia of Orange, Prince Nicolas Tristan St. Alexandre of Wales is second in the line of succession for the thrones of both The Netherlands and The United Kingdom. He is styled His Imperial Highness The Prince Nicolas Tristan St. Alexandre, The Prince Imperial.
He was fostered briefly in French North Africa, before being sent to live with Swedish nobility in the United States. He studied theater at a prestigious youth acting program, and also competed in fencing and 3-Day eventing. He also studied Old English, and competed a student translation of BEOWULF at 14.
He was accepted to University of St. Andrews at the age of 14, but was deemed too young to attend; and instead became a young fiction writer.
He moved to Los Angeles to work as a film director, and was recognized as the heir apparent to both William, Prince of Wales and Catharina-Amalia, Princess of Orange, his parents.
He studied directing with professors at American Film Institute, and was accepted at the youngest age to the Sundance Directors Lab, but for security reasons the young prince was not permitted to attend. He also studied art and film briefly at UCLA.
His work was screened at Cannes Film Festival and Venice International Film Festival, and he won a Golden Lion at Venice International Film Festival for his work as a screenwriter, at the youngest age ever.
He wrote several noir short stories that were accepted by The New Yorker and The Atlantic and The Paris Review, as His Serene Highness Lord Daniel Nikolai Warhol, an affectionate name with friends. He also draws and directs as Daniel Nikolai Warhol.
He is the godson of Andy Warhol, and often prefers his godname, Danny.
