Director Biography

Nicki White (Kansas City, Missouri) has been singing and writing songs since she was seven. Picking up guitar at age 11 lead her to lessons, which lead her to open-mics and even being a Hollywood finalist on American Idol in 2011. Her sound is beautifully diverse, while never straying from soul and blues. Lyrically, you can hear the hint of light in each song. Check out 'The Good Side of You' an EP recorded and released in Muscle Shoals, AL in 2018. Or '420 Queen' (2020) a haunting, acoustic, dream-like single with a humorous twist inspired by Bobbie Gentry. White is currently working on her debut album set to be released in 2022.
