The Newport Independent Film Festival is dedicated to showcasing independent films from around the world, providing a platform for creativity, exploration, and inspiration. Each year, the festival attracts filmmakers, industry professionals and film fans from around the globe to celebrate the diversity and innovation of the art of cinema.

Film screenings:
The festival's core activity is the screening of popular films, including feature films, documentaries, short films, animations and experimental films. Each work is a relentless pursuit of the art of independent cinema, expressing the unique perspectives and talents of the creators. Projection placements at a number of featured cinemas and cultural venues in Newport provide audiences with a convincing cinematic experience

Industry Exchange & Class Teacher:
In addition to film screenings, the Newport Independent Film Festival hosts a series of industry networking events and masterclasses, inviting filmmakers, screenwriters, directors, and producers to share their creative experiences and industry guidance. These events provide an opportunity for emerging film talent to network with experts and peers, and encourage creativity and collaboration. Communicate with the class teacher.

Awards ceremony:
Each year, the festival awards several awards, including those that stand out for innovation, expressiveness and artistry. The awards ceremony will be the culmination of the festival, where the best films will receive the recognition they deserve, from Best Picture to Best Screenplay and Best Short Film.

Audience interaction:
The festival places special emphasis on interaction with the audience. In addition to the screenings, we also set up a dedicated audience feedback session to give fans the opportunity to speak directly with the filmmakers and discuss the film's creative process and story. This session provides film lovers with a more in-depth experience of participating in the festival.

Marché du Film & Exhibition:
In order to promote the circulation and cooperation of films, the festival also set up a film market and exhibition area for film industry professionals, distributors and producers to present new works and find partners and audiences.

Local events:
As a city full of history and culture, Newport will host a series of cultural activities during the festival, such as outdoor screenings, visits to historical sites and cultural experiences, to provide a full range of experience activities for attendees and movie fans.
