Director Biography - Bruce Tao

Bruce Tao starts his film industry career with the support of his close friend Bev ( LA ) , daughter of Al Francis ( Cinematographer, nominated for 2 Primetime Emmys) , who's known for Mission: Impossible (1969), Star Trek: The Original Series (1968-1969), The Immortal (1970-1971), The Blue and the Gray (1982). Since then, Bruce has been involved in the US-China film industry , and due to his social capabilities he got the honor to networking with Hollywood top class screenwriters, producers , directors such as Craig Mazin ( Writer: The Hangover 2/3 ) ; Gleen Berger ( Writer & Producer: Kungfu Panda 1/2/3) ; Ed Solomon ( Writer & Producer: Men in Black , Now You See Me 1/2) ; Zack Estrin ( Writer& Producer for Prison Break ) ; James V Hart ( Writer & Producer : Hook , Dracula , Epic ) ; Jonathan Frakes ( Director, AKA: Star Trek : Generations , First Contact ).

As a film professional , Bruce attended film festivals like Cannes Film Festival, Austin Film Festival, Shanghai Intl Film Festival, Winter Film Awards International Film Festival ( New York ). He also represents China-made films to the global motion picture market, and consults European filmmakers to bridge with China filming market.

Bruce worked for Boao Forum for Asia, one of world's largest and foremost conferences, from 2012-2014, as the special assistant of General Secretary Mr.ZHOU Wenzhong, former deputy at Ministry of Foreign Affairs of PRC and the Ambassador to the US.

Bruce has been residing in Beijing China, Portland US, Athens Greece , Normandie France since 2014.
