Director Statement

"New Year" started as a series of videos for my Instagram account, featuring satirical songs, before evolving into a completely different and deeply personal work. I felt the need to expose my vulnerability at a time in my life when I was losing everything, leaning against the floor of my room, and pouring my soul out.
