Director Biography - Lisa Meinesz

Lisa Meinesz is an artist that specialises in the digital sculpting of biomorphic forms and alien organisms. Lisa’s art seeks to foster a deeper appreciation for the interplay between biology, technology, and art.

Her past experiences in traditional mediums such as painting and cinematography mean her work leans toward a cinematic execution, providing a broad canvas for her ideas and output, whether digital or physical.

Renderings are often realised in physical form as aluminium (SLM) 3D printed objects, a companion piece that takes on a permanence beyond the digital realm her primary canvas provides.
