  • The New Jersey Film Festival is a powerhouse hybrid festival. Their support is phenomenal and the amount of publicity provided to filmmakers is second to none. Their screening of our documentary greatly helped introduce it to a broad and diverse audience. The New Jersey Film Festival promoted our film with a television interview at a nearby community television station and they also submitted news releases about the film to several media outlets. We felt honored to have our documentary screened on the opening night of the festival. As a result of our inclusion in the New Jersey Festival, many people in our home communities learned about our work and the festival. Although the festival took place during a difficult time when the pandemic appeared to be worsening and therefore many people were reluctant about attending public gatherings, the organizers are to be commended for continuing the festival. We are proud to have been included in this dynamic, well-organized event.

The New Jersey Film Festival has been the best festival experience we have had so far! Al Nigrin and the team are truly supportive and provide great opportunities for marketing and networking. We were honored to receive an Honorable Mention as well. Looking forward to participating again in the future!

Thank you Al Nigrin and the whole festival team for the delicate and sharp accompaniment, manifested during Q&A and through the texts published in New Jersey Stage. Films need words to echo their stakes and choices. Thank you for everything. And so happy with the Honorable Mention, that the jury award our film

  • What sets this festival apart is their clear dedication to and support of filmmakers. And ever since they supported our first narrative short, we've always tried to bring our films back irrespective of genre, specifically because of the culture of filmmakers that they've worked hard to cultivate around their programs. That's something to celebrate.
