“New Heaven” is about a middle-aged woman who is struggling to come to terms with ageing and mortality. The film explores how she finds fulfilment while dealing with the memories of her younger days. The story shows the protagonist’s struggles, conflict, and journey towards getting her self-worth back.

Director Biography - Swati Chugh

Director Swati Chugh is an MBA in marketing and is working in a prestigious IT MNC as Sr Manager. She has 12 years of Corporate experience in Operations, Finance, HR, Strategy and Innovation. She has been pursuing filmmaking along with her corporate job. She studied film making at Barry John Acting Studio, New Delhi and made 3 short films as part of the course. She further went on to study film making at New York Film Academy at Los Angeles, USA and made 3 short films there. Her film "New Heaven" has won 7 awards and 18 accolades at Film Festivals in 10 countries so far - India, USA, Canada, Russia, Italy, Bhutan, Venezuela, Germany, Nepal.
