Director Statement

This film, which traces the journey of 2 exceptional athletes, is intended to be inspiring for all of us. A message that whatever our goals and dreams are, we should never give up. That failure is an integral part of success and that what is most important, is our ability to pick ourselves up and carry on and that the journey is more important than the result. Produced with a low-cost budget, we too had to overcome many challenges and endure setbacks. This documentary goes beyond sport. It shares the humanistic values and friendship of 2 athletes from completely different social backgrounds who ordinarily would never have met.
