Never Enough Hands to Unknot
Synopsis: "Never Enough Hands to Unknot" is a dance piece by Sophie Sengle and Franziska Ullrich that explores embodied activism through the behaviors of plants. Reimagined as a film set in a forest, it reflects the hidden yet potent micro-activism of queer activists in the director's home country, Lebanon. Inspired by fungal networks, the choreography captures themes of mutual support, rising, and falling, serving as a metaphor for resilience, solidarity, and the strength of collective growth in the shadows.
