In Romania, people with neurological disorders experience low levels of social support. You will not see them on the streets, you will not know that a co-worker might suffer from one of these diagnoses, because they choose to hide or to isolate. They are sent into isolation by our own ignorance. Inspired by Simona’s life story, a professional actor simulated different crisis situations specific to neurological diseases in a social experiment filmed on the streets of Bucharest. Most people chose to look the other way, while the very few pedestrians that decided to help proved lack of medical knowledge.   

#NeuroPowerful Together aims to create a social change in Romania. For people with neurological disorders to live a normal life, they need to know that people around them will not judge based on their appearance and that if anything happens, someone will know how to help.
