Neon Red
Neon Red is a story of revenge, based on the aesthetic and narrative characteristics present in the Film Noir and consequently in the Neo Noir, as well as setting it in the 80's, loaded with a dark, dirty, worn and accompanied environment of Neon lights to accentuate the street and urban location. This story follows Sid, who after seeing his gang eliminated decides to take justice into his own hands and take revenge on his enemies at the expense of his own life.

60% Producer, 20% Designer, 20% Animator, and 100% Costa Rican.
I have a Bachelor´s Degree as a Generalist Digital Animator from Universidad Veritas.
I started as a 2D animator, designer, and illustrator 7 years ago, working primarily for national businesses and advertising.
I've made works for the SUTEL, UNED, UCR, Tico Burguesas and Interact, primarily on the advertising and educational fields.
After 5 years of working as a freelancer, I decided to start my own studio, and with the help of friends and family it became a reality, now I am a proud co-owner and production manager at Journey Animation Studio S.A a Costa Rican based studio, working on all audiovisual, animation and video game fields.

Fan of Tekkonkinkreet, action movies, all ´80s related and just a love for animation, drove me to make this project with my classmate Felipe Lizano. We´ve never animated something like this before, only small tests during our Bachelor's career, so having it done was a real accomplishment for us.
