Galina, a representative of the Nenets culture who lives near Salekhard in Yamal with her daughter, built housing for nomadic people of the North. The housing, called "Minley," has five chums, each inhabited by Nenets people. They follow their traditional way of life and welcome guests to share their history. Moscow students, travelers, and local school children are frequent guests of the camp. Galina answers all questions of guests, leads tours of the house, performs rituals, and serves venison to those who are interested.
